5% Forward
Teddy Roosevelt stated "“Of all the questions which can come before this nation, ...there is none which compares in importance with the great central task of leaving this land even a better land for our descendants than it is for us.”
in 2017 as we noticed an uptick in litter, vandalism and a decline of outdoor awareness, we set out to promote a love for the outdoors and foster a sense of stewardship for public lands. In 2018 when False Kiva in Canyonlands was closed due to extreme vandalism, we thought to ourselves "wouldn't it be amazing to be able to pay for the restoration efforts?" Beyond that, when we look to the next generation, we take Teddy's words to be gospel - that there is nothing more important than to preserve these places for the future.
As such, from our very start, we have adopted a 5% "give forward" policy. The idea here is that the money we donate to the National Park Foundation and other causes goes directly to the preservation of Public Lands for many generations to come.
We're thankful for all those who support our cause and help us on this important mission of education, stewardship and conservation!
